I'm completly against abortions and anyone who decides to have one, there's people in the world who can't have children and then there's people who can and decide to have an abortion.

The only reason I think someone should have one is if they've been raped and then I don't think it's acceptable.

but don't you think that embryo/fetus has the right to life? I mean, all accidents don't end up becoming disasters.

Pretty shit life it would have if the parents can't afford or don't have the maturity to look after a child wouldn't you think?

I'm talking about in the extreme cases here; i don't think it's right to have an abortion if you're in a stable environment and just don't want one yet... That's just taking the piss. But if you seriously can't look after the child then surely it's fairer to not put them through that.

As i said... I wouldn't have an abortion though.

What about putting the child up for fostering or adoption? Surely this child could get through a difficult childhood and go on to lead a happy, healthy life?

    I am Pro-Choice.....

    • Everyone has a right to decide how they live their life.
    • The women may be focusing on her career or already have a family.
    • They may not be financially stable.
    • The women may be incapable of looking after a child due to mental/physical disabilities.
    • Rape.
    • Failed contraception *NEWSFLASH* it happens!
    • Society shouldnt dictate someones life.

I wouldnt want to bring a child into the world unless i was sure i could give them 100% as a parent.

I don't agree with abortion being used as a method of birth control and think some people take the piss a bit.  Oh its ok i wont bother with contraception, if i get pregnant ill just have an abortion Noobs.

If the pregnancy is a result of a rape I can understand why they would.

If it as a result of anything else I think they should carry on with the pregnancy.  There are so many women out there that long for a child or their own but can't, they should let people like them adopt them.  Some women take having a child as a life or death situation and take their own lifes over not being able to have children.

I wouldnt ruin my body for a random person to adopt a baby i didnt want.  I would maybe however consider having a baby for a loved one if they couldnt have a child.  How many people can honeslty say they would go through a 9 month unwanted pregnancy only to end up with stretch marks and a saggy foof?

    Abotions would cause more damege.

Abortion also emanates into various medical complications in the woman which can be considered as the cons of abortion. Some of the general complications arising in women due to abortions are:

    • Blocked fallopian tubes
    • Weakened cervix
    • uterine scarring
    • damage to the woman's reproductive system which may make her unable to conceive in the future>

Apart from these common problems, women may also:

    • face the increase in the probability of an increase in tubal babies
    • hysterectomies
    • miscarriages
    • stillbirths
    • premature
      births

Abortion is also related to the increase of chances of breast, uterine and cervical cancer in women. Apart from the other facts about abortion, it is a fact that almost ninety percent of the abortions taking place in the United States of America are illegal. These illegal abortionists work on almost an assembly line basis, and not every product they deliver is top-of-the-rack. Illegal abortions greatly increases the health risk to the mother, apart from the above described situations. Illegal abortions may not be hundred percent hygienic and may create a leeway for hundreds of types of infections and other medical malpractice situations for the mother.

There's always adoption. There are so many people willing to take a child in out there.

I wouldn't have an abortion either, but I do believe in pro-choice, but I'm just putting myself on the other side.

If you're having sex, even if you're using contraception, you know that there's still a risk to getting pregnant. If people really don't want children, just don't have sex! I know that isn't going to happen... even for me.
