What? Adoption a better method than abortion? What about the fucking unborn baby's right to life? Not all children will feel rejected after being adopted, many will grow up happily in a secure home, and have a better life than many kids living with their biological parents.

I also find it hilarious how you used to be Mr. Diplomacy on here and now you just fly off the handle at people lol.

Fetus doesn't have rights as its not a independent being. Its taking resources from the mother so the mother has overall right.

A few cells in my skin has the potential for life given the right scientific procedure. I am commiting mass genocide when I clap at football matches.

I agree some children do have great lifes in adoption my brother is adopted by my father. He is a great brother, however that is not always the case. Then it comes down to the traumatic experience of letting a child go and going into post natal depression. Abortion is a better option mentally in cases were people prefer it.

I can be Mr Diplomacy when I need to be, but people with narrow minded views piss me off. They have not tried to understand the area in which they are arguing. Sometimes yes I can be very opinionated but I am not afraid to re evaluate my ideas.

Well, if you've read my posts thus far, you will have seen that I am neither 100% pro-life nor 100 % pro-abortion - it very much depends on circumstance.

Your point about the fetus not being an "independent being" is a valid one, but it's stilla  bit harsh I feel.

It's good you can re-evaluate your ideas, I like that.

I'd like to debate this further but I'm very tired, later on maybe.

    That would be cool.

Doesn't matter on the circumstances its matters about the person or person's that will have to take responsibility.

I read your posts. I see you struggling to balance the pro life to pro choice. People think a fetus is a baby when it is not. Its cells, simple as that.

Nah, I fully realise a fetus is not a baby but it eventually will be a baby, that's my point.

Anyway, there is no right or wrong answer here and we shall have to agree to disagree for now.

like most people, i'm for abortions with the right reasons

i wanted an abortion when i got pregnant with my son at 17, however for medical reasons i can't go on the pill or have an abortion and as the condom failed me, i had no choice

tbh, i was gutted that i couldn't have an abortion, i didn't think i could handle a baby in any way (maturity, financially etc)

Thats the biggest bollocks I have read so far. So someone should have a fetus growing in them to deliver a baby after the approiate time to make those that can't have children feel better. Get a grip.

    Narrow minded much.

My opinion, I'm not narrow-minded at all, that's my opinion and I'm not going to change it because of some knuckle head that doesn't agree with it.

Don't care if you change your opinion, just pointing out the extremely crap statements you made.

All I have to do is think of me and have peace of mind

They weren't crap statements just because you don't agree with them.

I'm not sure where I stand, quite opposed to it but in certain situations I can understand.  What I 100% disagree with is that the abortion law in this country allows you to have one up until 24 weeks.

At 24 weeks the baby is almost fully developed; body wise it looks like a baby, it has fully developed eyes, starts moving its hands around, etc.

Also at that stage it is most definitely a baby and not a 'fetus', there have been cases of babies being born at that age prematurely and being fine.

    Personal choice.

I wouldn't have one but that's because I'm ready in every way for a baby except financially and my boyfriend and I haven't been together that long. If an accident happened, we'd struggle but I'd rather that than having an abortion. I don't think I'd ever get over it.

    I love you...

You choose what is best at the time for the circumstances.
