You cut my hair and i watched it fall to the ground. I felt no pain.
Could it be like that with my heart ?

They are extremely crap statements. To say abortions shouldn't be used in any circumstances is narrow minded and showing no clue to actual reasons why abortions are used in todays society. Try researching the topic and read up on the psychological implications on abortion etc...
I have no problem with someone having a valid different opinion on the subject and I will always re evalutate my ideas but that was just border line limited thinking.

I'm not sure where I stand, quite opposed to it but in certain situations I can understand. What I 100% disagree with is that the abortion law in this country allows you to have one up until 24 weeks.
At 24 weeks the baby is almost fully developed; body wise it looks like a baby, it has fully developed eyes, starts moving its hands around, etc.
Also at that stage it is most definitely a baby and not a 'fetus', there have been cases of babies being born at that age prematurely and being fine.
Read up on the actual evidence pointing to the 24 week period. Studies have shown that babies being born before 24 weeks have a low survival rate. One Study had show out of 500 babies none survived.
There is no scientific reasoning for extended the 24 weeks. Just because it looks like a baby doesn't make it a baby. The baby is still developing many more things to survive the birth process.
ITS NOT A BABY BUT A FETUS READ SCIENTIFIC TERMINOLOGY AND FIND OUT WHY THIS HAS BE ESTABLISHED.
WHy can't people think passed emotions and look at something like this logically?

i dont think you can really give a solid view on it until your in that situation yourself... personaly i think its far to easy to get an abortion in this country... ive known people who have literally walked into a gp' s and out right told them they want a termination and with no question of why or confirmation from other doctors granted them it... now i was sure you had to have 2 doctors confirmations that you are incapable mentally or physically to look after the baby...
My view is if abortions were alot harder to obtain less people would be so keen on having unprotected sex, i know for a fact most people think, "meh if i get pregnant i can always just get it terminated" harder to get an abortion means less unwanted pregnancys and less sti's... only people who should be granted an abortion are those who were raped and impregnanted or if the baby/person suffers great mental/physical disability.
But like i said you cant really make a statement until your in those shoes

I don't want to search up all that crap, I've given my opinion, no need to throw your toys out of the pram because you dont agree.

I'm not annoyed with you but to have a opinion on something you honestly say now that you have no intention of getting any information on just makes you sound more ignorant.

So, I'm ignorant because I don't want to search up about something that I already know about?
i've given my opinion .. I don't agree in abortions in whatever position you're in, i find it sick that you could get rid of your own flesh and blood.

i'm pro-choice, but i dont sympathize with girls who use abortion as a type of contraception, noway.
but if i fell pregnant at my age now, even if i was in a stable relationship, i would abort, simply because i know i'm sensible enough to realise i couldnt give my child whatever it needed and wanted, id struggle even more then i do now, and i would depend on my mum even more then i do now, plus at this time in my life, my career comes before anything and i strongly believe my opinion wouldnt change if i ever did fall pregnant in the near future.

This my war baby, go home.
also people fail to realise that putting a baby up for adoption doesnt automatically mean they will be adopted straight away as soon as their born, it can take years, and many children end up in and out of care and fosters home struggling to fit in or be accepted by potential foster parents, having an even more traumatic and miserable life.
imagine meeting a new couple every few months, in the hope that they will adopt to then find out you werent right for them? like a fucking push chair? i dont see how any child could understand that kind of rejection and what it would do for their self esteem in adult years, i dont see how a child would be better sent to a care home to receive years of rejection and upheaval[sp].
edit; and yes i am saying this from experience, i have been in care for a brief time.

This my war baby, go home.

Its a fetus nothing more until it is at 24 weeks.

It's still growing inside you and it's still your child.

Of course, men don't seem to realise it's the hardest decision a woman will have to make, imo anyway. I'm pregnant, and i don't know what to do, i've just got onto my feet myself, but i don't think i could give a baby 100%, my bf couldn't give much to a baby, he works seven days a week from anytime between 1pm to 2am. So you've gotta ask yourself what the best option is.

Aw Congratulations.
My friends sister was only 17 when she had her baby and she's not in the most stable situation, she's still in 6th form and her family arent exactly made in money, she had a one night stand with a married man but she's coping so well.

As much as my family are wanting to help, i'd rather my bf be there for me, but he owns a business so time away from there is a no no. We're both only young and there's plenty of time.If i abort then i'd always wonder what life would have been like, if i decide to go ahead then i don't think i could give the baby all it needs. My bf could not be here in 3 years, so it's a tough decision.
In that situation i couldn't bring up a baby, i don't agree with one night stands at all. My sister fell pregnant at 17 too, almost 18, she was at sixth form and had two jobs, on friday she would go to sixth form, then to work till 2AM, get up at 8AM for work again, then go to work that night. But she was in a stable relationship, which helped alot.
