Duh, but my point is they don't ACTIVELY go after people. I went to a show premiering Maya 7.5 a few years back and he asked if anyone in the crowd had tried the new photoshop. Loads of hands went up and he laughed 'that's funny as it hasn't been officially released yet ;)' and everyone had a jolly laugh about it, because all these people know that home-use doesnt' hurt their product's sales.
Studios pay Adobe a huge fee to have all their software on every computer in the building annually, with discounts on upgrades each 6-12 months, the same as 3d studios do with 3DSMax, Lightwave, Maya, and post-prod places do with Flame and Inferno. That's how they make their money. They don't care about joe bloggs faffing about on it in his bedroom.
