I've been in a long term relationship (with a kid) for eight years, I've had one night stands, I've had two weeks, a month, yada yada yada...
There's a lot to be said for being close to one person, and there's a lot to be said for being on your own. I'm alone right now, and sometimes I feel lonely, but other times I feel free!
No other person comes without commitment, yourself included. The question is less about do you feel alone, as much as do you feel ready to commit?
