Since I was about 17, I've been almost constantly with someone, it's only the last year since things finished with my ex that I've actually been properly single, I've been been happier not having a relationship to stress out over, I think I've preferred it.
In saying that I think it's a reflection on the people I've been with, I could probably be just as happy being with someone if they were the right person. [I don't mean "soul mate" wise necessarily , just right at the time]

of course you can! some relationships make you more unhappy than they do happy..
you may be controlled and not allowed to do certain things, and also arguing with a partner can be very upsetting, i would rather be alone than in a relationship i'm not 100% happy in.

Depends on the person..Some people are quite happy being alone..others not so.
I don't like it and would never see myself happy being on my own.

I need my own space most of the time.. i only be alone when i need to do things by myself ie: Think etc..
I don't need to depend on anyone being there for me, i do that for myself..
