lol. What I prefer about the tumbler is that it can actually turn the front wheels.

Batman (1989),I'm pretty sure it used a grappling hook or something on a street lamp to turn a corner

Batman Returns, there was that base that rotated it around.

Batman Forever, and Batman & Robin, similar to Batman (1989)

Have to be honest and say when I first saw the design on the tumbler from leaked internet images back in 2004,I thought it looked hideous

I don't see why anyone has beef with the tumbler.  It's a bad-ass, futuristic, tank ffs.  What could be cooler?

That was just based on the first image I saw,it didn't seem like a batmobile to me.

Even though I knew they were using the tank idea from The Dark Knight Returns.

At least it looked better than it did in that book

I wonder though if they knew the Tumbler could "house" the batpod, since Lucius never mentioned it in Begins,or if they modified it so that could happen.

Saw a book in Waterstones the other day about the making of The Dark Knight, might buy it,looks good

I enjoyed it, solid movie. Only quibbles:

Yes his voice was verging on comical at points.

I didn't like the way his first appearance was done

Other than that it was a good 2 1/2 hours of fun. Some brave story ideas and death's too!

i wasnt keen on the introduction of batman

i really really hate the fact the scarecrwo was on it for no real reason at all, it was the only realy bit of sequal problems when they try to bring as much back as possible to recreate the sucess of the first film when its not really needed such as in the pirates films when every character was brought back when half of them wernt needed

His voice did annoy me a little.

    Loved it.

I thought Ledger's performance was being over rated because of his death and what not but after seeing he deserves all the plaudits hes been getting. Enjoyed most of his scences the party scene was my favourite out of the whole movie.

The only annoying part was Batman's voice no need for that what so ever and the lisp, wtf?

I may even be going back to see this again.

    see i wondered that

he either actually is dead or there pretending hes dead because they want him to be remembered as gothams white knight and are putting the blame on batman so he could possibly be in a sequal
