Awesome film.
Wouldn;t be anything without Heath Ledger, he really was that fucking good.
I cant actually beleive how good he was.

Before this movie I didnt think he was that good an actor from what Id seen(not mmuch) but after this I thought whoa this guys good

Fucking amazing wasnt he.
People are saying that hes only in line for an Oscar because hes dead, no fucking way, he would get one regardless.

Posted: Sun 17th Aug 2008, 12:27 am I dunno anymore. A blog I read recently that agreed with what I have been telling my mates. I can't seem to find it so I'll summarise.
Basically its a good watch, and it is entertainment, but its not the "Masterpeice" that everyone cliams it is. Firstly for being a "Batman" movie its not really about him, infact any superhero could have taken his place and the differance wouldn't effect the movie. Its about The Joker and Harvey Dent.
Also there is way to much crammed in here. For instance the whole Two face story was forced into the 3rd part of the movie. The whole film works on the Joker breaking him down. The Two face storey could have been developed more in another movie, giving room to develop some scenes, that actually weren't done that well.
Also, as the blog highlights, the film can be related to the Saw movies. For instance the Boats? Two (Sets of) people pitted against eachother in a challange. "Live or Die, make your choice" would have fit in perfectly had the Joker said it. Also with the scene with Rachael and Dent talking while "Batman" has to choose which to save. Now I'm not saying its a copy of Saw, but Its not a "Brand new" "Breakthrough" storyline.
Like I'm just one niave opinion obviously, but I don't think its a masterpeice of film making. I hope it makes sense that saying that it is a dam good movie.

still the film of the year, whether u think it is or isnt a masterpiece, there hasnt been much better this year

They should have ended it with him just turning and have him turn up in the next one (Along with another villain because I don't think that character could carry a film by itself). Who knows, maybe he will still turn up in the next one but Two Face did absolutely nothing to enhance Dark Knight, in my opinion.

I concur, Heath Ledger made the movie. I'm dreading Halloween cause ya just know that alot of people are gonna be dressing up as the Joker. I don't reckon the movie was better than Batman begin either.
