oooh,it's a toughie between piano & guitar for me - well,acoustic guitar anyway.
But I went for piano,I've always liked it.
Plus I'm quite sure you can play "guitar tunes" on a piano, and not vice versa.

Well,you actually can lol,gotta be really skilled though
all it takes is some slight changes to be made to the notes etc and its fairly easy to play piano stuff on the guitar, Look at Canon in D by Johan Pachelbel, thats been covered quite a lot recently by a few on Youtube.
I voted Piano though.
