I'd imagine eventually bio-tech will mean you can just have a new hand grown, but until then having a cybernetic hand is a pretty good substitute. It's great how easily the brain can accept electrical signals from outside sources. Like when Kevin Warwick gave himself ultrasound-sense or moved a robotic hand over the internet via though.
