It might not be a case of the RAM's not compatible with the MOBO, could just be a fauly line number.

Also, the RAM might not have been installed correctly, should check that it's not loose or anything.

I took the RAM out and put it back in again, it was in securely anyway but thought I'd just do it anyway. It haven't had any errors so far

I was looking at the print on the labels of my old RAM and new RAM and they say the same shit. PC3200, 400MHz, CL3, DDR.

If that error occurs again I'm taking it to my work for the IT guy to look at, he knows his stuff so hopefully will be able to fix it

Was the 'IRQL_NOT_LESS_THAN_OR_EQUAL' the exact error message you were getting and did you google the error message?

Found this you might want to check out.

Dunno if this could be anything to do with it but whenever I had that error message I've had Utorrent open (I only downloaded it last week). I've not had it open today and haven't had any error messages...yet.

in a legal way, which version is it... as i'm aware that some of the versions have problems with memory leaking etc....

I'm pretty convinced that it was Utorrent causing it to crash. It's been running fine the last few days now and I've not been downloading from Utorrent which seems to indicate to me that that is the problem. I'm gonna uninstall then re-install it and hopefully it won't cock up again. Fingers crossed.

That's cos Utorrent loves to hammer RAM.
