    Meal One

5 grams of creatine in water

    Cardiovascular Workout

30 minutes AM Cardio - Steady State

    Meal Two

2 or 3 Wheatabix in skimmed milk.

    1 omelette

    Meal Three

150 grams of chicken or tuna on wholemeal Pitta bread

    Tomatoes, Lettuce, Cucumber.

    Item of fruit.

    Meal Four

    Three slices of Linseed Bread.

    One tin of tuna.

    Item of fruit.

    Pre-Workout

    50 grams of Whey Protein

    5 grams of Creatine

    10 grams of Dextrose

    During Workout

    5 grams of Creatine shake

    Post-Workout

    50 grams of Whey Protein

    50 grams of Dextrose

    Meal Five

    Meal of my choice.

    Meal Six (

Oily fish (Sardines, Pilchards, Salmon, Mackerel)

    A handful of nuts

Is this a good diet to accompany my gym routine? By that i mean does it give a decent ratio of proteins to carbs to fats? What if anything could i encorporate to make it better and what alternative foods can be offered to make it cheaper yet just as efficient?

Too much protein i would say. If you are going to be very dedicated then you want between 1 and 1.5 lb of protein per kg of weight.

I would cut down your whey protein intake to 25-30g per serving.

Do your am cardio before meal one and cut out the omelette.

Linseed bread is good, but how about replacing the pitta with some basmati rice? lighter on the stomach.

    Forget the tuna.

Put the oily fish as meal 5 - in truth you can do anything protein here - chicken, lamb, red meat, whatever.

Meal 6 have more than a handful of nuts - try 200g or so, thats about 600kcal - make sure its non-salted cashews. You could change this up with peanut butter or some nut oils - flaxseed, linseed etc if you get bored.

    whats your aims anyway?

I'd get very bored of eating that every day or so but thats me, if you can keep that up, hats off to you.

    Is creatine actually any good?

It's bloody expensive for a tiny tub

its good for further muscle building, but only if you train hard enough, otherwise you will just retain lots of water and look bloated and be broke for no reason.

I wouldn't really advise it until youve done a couple of good cycles and know you can keep a good regime and diet.

    hmm sod that then

Ill start of with whey first

    see how that goes

doing a new routine now which is quite hard

so the extra protein would do good

i wouldnt rate that diet at all!Whats with the creatine intakes...i dont believe in taking products at the early stages of muscle/body building its ridiculous...That diet is for someone far more advanced in the muscle building process than you in my opinion anyway,,,You can gain enough nutrients from natural foods...That looks like a bodybuilders diet...do you think they started off on that diet????Think about it,,,,Instead of being so strict with your diet id start with working out ...So many people say i workout all the time etc but more than half dont know shit.Learn to get the most out of working out for instance benching or bicep exercises require alot more technique than people think especially if you want strong rewards from it...Bench for instance you should arch your back and your grip with your hands should be loose dont push up too far or lower down too much because thats when it starts working your tricep...On topic basically i think that program is wrong for you....Martone liked the look of it and do you rekon you should be doing the same as him????Find out what suits you that looks like its been took from the interenet

its a great way to start! why do half measures. his first 6 months will be his most time for putting on lean gains, with a diet like that he will grow like a weed!
