i could think of so much better things they could do with the money, like fix broke ass roads, or lower my tax

    That's exactly how I feel.

Sometimes I wonder why I'm supporting this tbh, but I can't let go of my adoration for the game.

I fully agree. it's one of the greatest things ever created.

Shame it's full of selfish, greedy cunts.

No-one deserves that much money, pisses me off how one weeks pay could change my life tbh.

    ^^^^^^

I know ppl that work hard doing hard jobs and they get paid peanuts and then these ppl get paid shit loads for playin footy. They are way overpaid.

Football used to be better before in turned into a business tbh. Even the players had more passion.

Without mass foreign investment, there would be no ability to overpay. Can hardly blame the players, any player offered stupid amounts is going to accept it.

A lot of footballers give some of the overpaid amounts back into charities. Blame the foreign investment and FA for not restricting earnings & football clubs for offering huge sums for poor players.

Thats probably because hes always been on thousands a week, and lives a lifestyle for the money he earns. He's probably got million pound mortgages and expensive cars and all that bollocks and blows his money on other things or his money is tied up. I mean if it was the regular person who earned that type of money like from tomorrow they wouldnt know what to do it with, because they've been scrapping on say a grand a month for years. Most peoples lifestyles are based on what they earn

I'm not bothered by it, I just think that it's the clubs money so they can give the players as much money as they like

Proffessional football will ALWAYS be a business.

Pay the players on how they play.

Doesn't Morientes get paid on how he plays? :/

    Search team and rescue squad.
