Anyway:
*SPOILERS*
Just watched it. I really enjoyed the majority of it (Apart from the half hour after the kid was shot where NOTHING happens). The 2 killers were great, especially the clever one. He played his role brilliantly. It was good how they were cunts, but polite cunts. The rewinding/talking to the camera thing was different and I welcomed it. Didn't ruin the film one bit for me.
It was tense and uncomfortable at times but I also laughed quite a few times. Good film.
EDIT : I also liked how he kept calling 'Tubby' by different names
There was a suggestion that the talking to the camera was to try and involve the audience to make it seem more real. When they are talking on the boat at the end about real and imaginary or something, the clever one was like but if he seen it it must be real in some sense. This is why he talked to the camera, to make it more real and bring the audience into it so the film must be real in some sense because people are watching it. Hard to explain.
Also, when they rewound, it was because they wanted the audience to cheer or be happy that the bad guy killed, proving a point that people can be happy when someone is killed.
If these are the reasons for them doing, i have no problem with it. As you said, something different.
