    Just a quick one really.

I guess from working in the chemists I have seen a lot of old people that are totally relient on other people be it for medication, food, company or even helping them to the toilet.

My question is.. what would you do if this happens to you? IE you need someone to do everything for you? After leading a pretty normal life of being able to do anything, now you cant do anything for yourself.

I dont know if I could actually deal with being so reliant on other people...

This has happened to my cousin, she was 12 when she had a heart attack and now she can't even go to the toilet on her own, after being a perfectly healthy kid. I think she deals with it brilliantly though, much more than I could, she's only 13 so it must be really embaressing to have someone take you to the toilet and bath you. They've had to get a stair lift fitted, and a ramp into the house, and the doorways made wider for the chair.
I think I'd be gutted and feel sorry for myself constantly but she's always got a smile, bless

I really hope I dont get dementia or anything. The old lady that lived next door to me got that and one minute she was the nice old lady next door and then the next time i saw her she was just really wierd and then got put in a home.

she used to stand in our drive and ask for her mum & stuff!

This is the one thing I am petrified of

Im not scared of dying but I am scared of not being able to do any of the things I do now, losing any of my abilities and that

    Not good

I don't fall in love as a rule
It always made me look like a fool
'Cause it keeps me up late
    I can't concentrate
And I pride myself on keeping my cool
    But I've got to admit
That I'm a little bit in love with you

Now I don't want you gettin' me wrong
Because I don't sit up at night by the phone
    But then you come around
    I let my guard down
And I can't seem to leave you alone
    But I'll get over it
I'm just a little bit in love with you
