I find hanging around with boys really irritating
I just find them SO irritating!!! they overuse the word "banter" SO FUCKING MUCH! and half the stuff they do isnt even funny.
I much prefer hanging around with girls!
but then again sometimes I do appreciate the simpleness of hanging around with males but I have to be in the mood for it!

get on with both well. in past ive always had more lad mates than lasses though, however, my closest mates who ive always kept in touch with for years have generally been lasses. i would socialise with blokes a lot but there's not many who i've always stayed in touch with after moving away or whatever.
i dont feel uncomfortable going out clubbing or anything else with only blokes and have done many times, esp when i was at uni as my course was mostly male. also played for a pool team years back and i was the only girl same with some jobs etc where we'd go for drinks after. people often would ask me if it was weird being only girl but i never even thought about it.
i think men are easier to get on with in a way (especially from beginning) because usually what you see is what you get. women i think it takes a bit longer as they can be bitchy or two-faced and you dont know straight away - but once you become good friends with a lass it generally lasts longer.

i get on well with both. i've always had both male + female friends.
my best friends are a mix of boys + girls.
i tend to find that because i have female best friends + male best friends, i get the best of both worlds. i can discuss everything, some things with one sex, + other things with the other.
if i had to say though, i would say i had more close female friends, but i have many more male friends than female.
i also get on better with men, than women in general.

im more of a girls girl, i went through a stage of having alot of gay guy friends aswell, but that was short lived and i couldnt be arsed with all the dramatic drama that came with them.
i find it hard to get close to boys.
