how easy is it to put graphic cards or memory into your pc? or would it be best to just take it into a shop!

on a desktop both are a piece of piss normally aslong as you buy the parts that actually fit.

On a laptop ram is easy, graphics on most laptops are a bit trickier.

With ram just go to http://www.crucial.com/ukand there is a memory checker on there that will tell you what ram you need, how much you can have etc..

Graphics you will need to check the slot more then anything, such as do you need an AGP or PCI card

Those are the easiest parts to fit unlike CPU's which are more tricky.

The new Dual core and Quad core processors are a hell of a lot easier to fit now then they where say 5 years ago as they don't have pins actually on there surfaces.

Edit..... The memory and graphics cards are really easy to fit.
