...went over a friends house to eat
and the food just aint no good
i mean the macaroni's soggy the peas are mushed
and the chicken tastes like wood
so you try to play it off like you think you can
    by sayin that youre full
and then your friend says momma he's just being polite
he aint finished uh uh that's bull
so your heart starts pumpin and you think of a lie
and you say that you already ate
and your friend says man there's plenty of food
so you pile some more on your plate
while the stinky foods steamin your mind starts to dreamin
of the moment that it's time to leave
and then you look at your plate and your chickens slowly rottin
into something that looks like cheese
oh so you say that's it i got to leave this place
i dont care what these people think
im just sittin here makin myself nauseous
with this ugly food that stinks

anyone else doesnt like eating at other peoples homes? (except for bbq) I just generally dont like eating meals at a mates house. What is it about other peoples food that put you off?

i dont mind eating at mates houses tbh

what i dont really like is if they have animals ie cats/dogs sitting there looking sad cause they want some food, makes me feel guilty so i end up giving them some food

I avoid it just because I need everything to be done a certain way, and I need the food set out on my plate a certain way. I'm really hard to cook for anyways, I wont eat anything out of the freezer, like oven chips or owt. Andd I can't really eat meat, I'll have some chicken, but it has to be really thin coz if I'm chewing it too long I feel sick, so they'd have to like pull the chicken into little bits. Anddd I've started having carrots with practically every meal. I'm horrible to cook for LOL.

My dog does this, he dosent like come right up to us while we are eating, he just sits in his chair looking and waiting for any scraps.  My aunties dog used to come and steal bread and butter or what ever he could quickly grab off my plate

last time i was at my mates (and im talking years ago!) her dog sat right infront of us, looking sad and i ended up giving him half my dinner lol, then the cat came over and sat on the arm of the chair looking at my plate and licking its lips so the cat got the other half, think i only had about 3 mouthfuls

    I'm really bad with food.

& I can't eat at other peoples houses. It makes me feel ill. I don't know why.

But my food can't be touching eachother on my plate and I eat everything individually. & I can only eat potatoes and dairy products in certain circumstances. I don't like meat except for chicken breast sometimes. & I look at the food on my plate and create an order it has to be eaten in. So at other peoples houses, it just makes it worse.

    It's complicated.

It sounds stupid but no matter who's house I eat at...it never tastes as good as my mum's cooking.  I mean you'd think chicken, potatoes etc would all taste the same?!

I've had chicken tasting like rubber, potatoes burnt to a crisp, veg that's still pretty much raw and tastes naff...and i've sat there trying to eat the whole lot so they don't feel bad many times.  I've had crusty/old food still on plates/knives/forks etc too.

I'd rather eat at home or if i'm round at a mates...try and get a takeaway lol.

My mate's mum did lovely meals, but they'd be so tiny,

    like half a plate.

They also had these old fashioned pressure cookers, and the peas

and veg from them tasted like all of its goodness had been steamed

    away.

    Yuk.

    Man, stop being tight!
