Posted: Thu 6th Nov 2008, 4:45 am basically trying to keep the kids off the street as you do not have to go to college after 16, and apparently thats where most anti-social offences are caused by teenagers

So they will force people into apprentaships etc which is good because people will be working rather then scrounging the streets drinking booze and causing distruptions and then going no where in life.. i dont see why anyone could be against this... it benefits everyone
- Posted: Thu 6th Nov 2008, 9:18 pm Over here, you can choose to drop out of school at 16, but if you do that here, there is no way you'll get a job and earn enough money to live on your own. The higher the education you have here, the more money you can earn with a career.
