and strawberry fields in the new bond is not a cheesy name ?!?!?!?!?!?!? things liek this are part of the bond film DNA not an action film trying to be jason bourne

peopel tend to see one over the top or bad bond film n class them as all beign the same NOT ALL OLD BONDS ARE THE SAME theres 20 of them each one isnt a remake of the last one

Ive seen quite a few of them. Ive seen most of the Connery ones. One Roger Moore one and all the Brosnan ones apart from Die Another Day so its not like I am basing my opinion on a couple of films.

Maybe not to the Bond purists but for people like me, who'll only watch them if there's fuck all else on, on a Sunday afternoon, they are all cheesy OTT nonsense.

I've seen plenty of them too, by the way, incase you think i'm basing this on one or two films.

i dont think that at all

its just most of the people who say things liek there 2 cheesy or far fetched or its not like any other bond film tend to be people who have only seen die another (bad example of a bond film great first half, bad second) day n a coupel of other so really its not a fair argument cos there not all cheesy far fetched n over the top (for your eyes only, russia with love) some are but thats not necessarily a bad thing all the time just look at goldfinger classic brilliant film things dont have to always be super realistic

when they tried to alter the bond filsm before with license to kill it didnt work as well as all the other old bond films, i think people will loose interest with the new bond films if the aim to be like the bourne films n dont start to introduce things what make bond films bond films

The films seem to have shifted towards a more 'Bourne Supremacy' direction as opposed to the traditional Bond style.

I liked it though all the same, change is good sometimes.

Good film, I enjoyed it, but not as much as Casino Royale...just seemed to be one chase sequence after the other, particularly at the start...as for the very start, cud hardly tell who was who and what was going on, same with other action sequences, super fast camera and whatnot...very annoying! And for the first time ever he didnt utter his usual words!

Sure its less cheesy than the older ones, but doesnt mean its automatically good...and not all the other ones were 100% cheese, they just had their moments, not like they were non-stop lamefests with stupid one-liners and OTT scenes every minute, they had a nice blend to them =] Bond films were traditionally about a suave ladies-man with gadgets lol now took an edgier turn to modernise it, which makes sense tbh

Oh and loving the theme song too

really loved it, im warming more to daniel craig in the role although i still think more stndalone bonds work better than sequals n wanted a bit more from the pre titles sequence but otherwise great film shame gemma atherton wasnt in it more

    great theme tune as well

Never really been a fan of the whole James Bond thing.

    But I loveeeed Casino Royale!

I went to see this one last night and I enjoyed it, but it wasn't great.

I thought the plot was just abit shit.

It kinda seemed like they just wanted to chuck as much action stuff into it as possible.

Without really bothering about the storyline. hmm
