Reckon he can pull this off or what?

WWE seems to really be pushing him towards a heel turn in the near future. Now I know it worked for Matt when he turned heel a few years ago, but Jeff's always been weak on the mic and I dunno if he actually has the charisma to carry this off

Dont think he will cos the crowd will never boo him.

But if he destroys the undertaker with a ladder or sum sort of weapon this thursday that would be the start of his heel turn.

they had edge just go mental and snap when he turned heel at taboo tuesday when HBK got picked.

i think he could pull it off, he does have mic skills it's just his accent lets him down.

thats how he needs to do it, he could carry it off better by just becoming a headcase without necessarily speaking, but the problem is the majority of his repertoire is based on hi risk moves and the fans are gonna cheer him everytime he does one

I think he's overrated anyway, somebody like Shelton Benjamin is a far better wrestler and marginally better on the mic, though neither are great in that respect.

I doubt he will be able to pull being heel off gets too much of a pop these days and I question the wisdom of the WWE bookers booking him like that.

his time with Matt when they was managed by Michael Hayes & when they was The New Brood , they where both pretty over as heels

i think a heel turn will be great if he can pull it off , keep him up in the main event or their abouts for sure

agreed, me and Nico have been hoping for years he'll get a decent push but I don't think he'll ever get over the "Mama's boy" gimmick

He's a real smarks wrestler, because he is exactly that, a pure wrestler. He is brilliant.

WWE won't give him the push he richly deserves because he isn't enough of a draw, won't put arses in seats and, as you say, had that ridiculous gimmick with the mama.

He'll probably end up killing his wife n kid like the last charisma-free smark favourite.

Well to be fair I doubt Benjamin's brain is as damaged as Benoit's was, but yeah what Benoit did was unforgivable. And yeah, Benoit had no drawing power.

Crazy bastard Benoit was.  In fact most wrestlers are according to 'Ring Of Hell.'

Quality book btw, I highly recommend.

I love wrestling books so I will take a look at that. Thanks.

Recently bought and read Jericho and Bischoff's autobiographies. Great reads. Highly recommended also.
