Nothing wrong with wanting to make a bit of extra cash.

Just a quick note. Everyone bangs on about how 20 years ago having a tattoo you were seen as an outcast etc but nowadays its acceptable but they moan when a few tattooists try to "spread the word".

its not what tattoing is about though

its media source has always been conventions , magazines and word of mouth

u can experience great art anywhere , so why are they so special to have their own show ?

    it litreally makes no sense

It really sounds like you're trying to want to keep tattooing in its exclusive little group. Art is for everyone, and people should be encouraged to pick up a pen and draw. You're living in the past.

I'm pretty sure everyone else in "the industry" would've took the offer of a TV show.

i view it as selling out as soon as they get bigger than the art form itself , as soon as they turn into a celebrity tattoo artist then thats enough for me

i just think ppl should take the time to study other artists based on their actual art

instead of constantly refering to the same old faces they see on tv , their not the best in the world by a long shot , but are held so high because of their fame

theirs tons and tons of artists that would run rings around them , and thats all i have to say on the matter

u can carry on thinking that miami ink and all them other shit shows are the best artistry out their but it really isnt

I didn't read all that because it's boring but at the end of the day, even if there's people better than them out there, they're bloody good at what they do. They're doing exactly what all tattoo shops do except they're being filmed and people enjoy watching the show. Get the fuck over it.

    I love you...
