i just think ppl should take the time to study other artists based on their actual art

instead of constantly refering to the same old faces they see on tv , their not the best in the world by a long shot , but are held so high because of their fame

theirs tons and tons of artists that would run rings around them , and thats all i have to say on the matter

u can carry on thinking that miami ink and all them other shit shows are the best artistry out their but it really isnt

I've not seen anyone on here say they are the best, and i certainly haven't. I don't know much about tattoos, but the show is good and the tattoos they do are good.

I didn't read all that because it's boring but at the end of the day, even if there's people better than them out there, they're bloody good at what they do. They're doing exactly what all tattoo shops do except they're being filmed and people enjoy watching the show. Get the fuck over it.

    What she said.

Yeah, I know all that. It's a fucking reality tv show, that's what they have to do! They have to interview people to make sure they have a meaningful story to make the show interesting. So? They're still good at what they do. Most people in the industry would kill to be in their shoes. Most people want to make more money, that's life. Stop bitching about it. It doesn't take away the importance of the art or what the tattoos mean, it just makes people more aware of it.

    I love you...

i just dont like how built up it is around the masses , and how its made them become bigger than the art form itself

body art has always been their , i dont understand why we need this big explosion of reality tv to make even more money off something

it really fucking annoys me when thats all certain ppl can relate to in regards to body art , makes me wanna stick pin in my eyes , listening to ppl waffle on about reality tattoo programmes

You can't do anything about it though. You're wasting energy getting pissed off about it. I do understand what you mean but this is just the bollocks society that we have to live in. Can't fight it.

    I love you...

i know , it just gets tiring thats all , so i can imagine how the majority of artists around the world feel

it wouldnt be so bad if they used the shows to get into and study the industry more , instead of seeing them as celebrity figures

Lol @ the tattoo guy. Fuck me, it's just a show. Sorry if it shits on 'the industry' but why let it annoy you so much? Crazy.

Nah i get what he means, its his passion if you love something so much then you too would hate to see it shit on...

...Basicly what makes the artists on miami ink so special? i have seen plenty of extrodinary artists out there and miami ink dosnt come close to them... fair enough if they wanna get their art show off everywhere but turning it into a swindle for money rather then a passion is a shame

Shes hot. I love her tattoo round her eye. Wouldn't have it done personally as much as I think in a few years time it will look naff when she starts having wrinkles.

    I'm obsessed with her.

I really wish I looked like her

And so I say I don't love you,
    Though it kills me
It's a lie that sets you free.
