I think 25 should be the limit. My bro's 24 and he still lives at home but he's bought a house and has to pay a shitload of mortgage off, etc and he bought an expensive car so he can't really afford anything right now but he's looking.

My Cousin is nearly 27 and he still lives at home. I think that is taking the piss, to be honest, especially cos he's got more than enough money to pay for a house [even two]!

I think I'll leave home before my Sister [who's 23].

I can't wait to move out.

I'm never at home anyway, I'm either in work or over my friends houses.

I wouldn't want to move out on my own though.

And so I say I don't love you,

im due to move out withing the next couple of weeks after buying a house a place to renovate about a year ago(if i pull my finger out and actually finish the house). ive had no problems living with my parents up to this age. i felt that having a mortgage any younger would have been sacrificing many other things which i wanted to spend my money on and also allowed me to save very easily.

If I could afford to and had someone to move in with, I'd move out now. I think. It's a scary idea for me still. I want my independence but I'm not going to like being away from my family at first. Doesn't matter though because I don't even have a job yet let alone saved up some money and found someone to move in with. I'll never live alone though. I hate being alone.

    I love you...

I still live at home, even though my bf and daughter live with me too.

Don't get me wrong I do wanna move out and have my own place, just the 3 of us but atm my bf doesnt have a very good job, so we're only living on my wage.

I'v been on the council list for years tbh, so I do wanna move, but I can't afford to rent yet, my monthly wage but probably just about cover the rent, without everything else getting paid. Thats just for a pokey 2 bed flat as well. And I can't afford a mortage yet either.

But I'm determined to be outta my mums and in my own place by the time my daughter is 2. (She is one next month). By then I'll have alot of the shit paid off that I'm currently paying off atm and my bf should have sorted himself out job wise.

I moved out at 18, my parents didnt think it would last and that i soon come crawling back but i didnt.  I like my own space too much.  Times are really hard at the mo money wise and i have considered moving back in with the parents at least untill i finish uni but i would loose everything (furnature/appliances) as we wouldnt have anywhere to store it all plus my mums had another child since i moved out i dont think i could cope with living with a 6 year old andddddd he has my old room so i would have to have a tiny box room. So no way, id rather be skint and sacrafice a few nights out, after all ive only got another 2 years of this struggle.  I would however at the drop of a hat go and live with my nan but i know she is exactly like me and likes her own space so it wouldnt be fair to intrude on her at her age.

21 and still at home, no point even trying to get my own place atm with how the credit crunch and everything is. My old boss was 37 and still at home and due to not having a house to pay for etc he had shitloads of 'disposable' income. Paying for brand new cars in cash and that.

    Might just stay at home

it depends what you situation is??? i moved away to uni when i was 18 so basicaly lived away for three years and i was fortunate enough to find a well paying job which allowed me to buy my apartment when i was 22, i would say the oldest you can still live with your parents is 25. i dont know anyone who is over 24 who lives with their parents.
