I went to Turkey during the summer and wouldnt go back.

First the heat was ridiculous. 48degrees!!!! I got burned on the first day (despite wearing factor 30) and it ruined the next few days.

Secondly, unless you pay quite a bit, the hotels and rooms are very basic.

Thirdly, you have to put your toilet paper in a waste bin!yuck.

Fourthly, it isnt as cheap as people make out. Unless you drink Efes (turkish beer) then it is still fairly dear to drink

and Lastly, the men. EWWW EWWW and EWWW again!! They follow you everywhere, a few of my mates were being hoes and pulling some of them, so i was sitting myself at one point and this turkish guy started talking to me, so since i was by myself and bored i was just being polite back. I then could not get rid of him for 4 hours! And he found me the next night aswel!! They just make my skin crawl!

We went along to the more british end, and the first pub we went in had a huge family which prb could of been on Jeremy Kyle with the language and shouting, so we got out sharpish!

So apart from the beach and sea which was quite nice. i didnt like it

You were born an original. Don't die a copy.

Was in turkey last year in Icmeler.

Really liked it apart from the plentitude of sleazy guys staring at my gf lol

Didn't think it'd be as bad as reported - in the end, it was worse! lol

Been to Marmaris twice, this year and last year. I absolutely loved it! There is loads to do and the weather is great. Yeah the toilet paper in the bin is disgusting but most places clean it everyday and yeah the men are sleezy but you just have to tell them no and show them that you mean it - they soon get the idea. I think it is cheap aswell, this year I went for two weeks and took £700 into Lira and didn't spend it all, that was on self catering and we went out everynight. Would recommend it to everyone!

What a lot of girls have said about the men being really slimey & perverted might be true then, i've heard this a few times but till now i didn't particually believe it.

Heaven knows what Attention I'd get if i went there, it'd probably ruin my stay

Then again surely not all of Turkey is like this

that's what we were worrying about when we got there because before we went everyone was telling us the men total perv on you but we didn't find it like that at all. obv there was some men like that but you get that everywhere but we found everyone really friendly over there

apprentley they prefer blondes, and considering its quite warm there most people will be walking around with hotpants an bikini's on. So you should be fine to go their.
