There's no logic.I'd wager it's because there is a very apparent divide between the majority of chat and the forums and it would be in MingleVilles best interest to bridge it, it's just difficult when the members aren't given any incentive to "cross over".

Granted there are some dickheads, but just look at the list of forumers that have been banned, they aren't all exactly the upper echelon of society.

Seriously though do the chat ppl let any noobs even get a word in or do they just ignore or try to pick a fight?
Some of the forum members that have been banned were sound. Some shouldnt have even been banned.

Only place people/non-chat regs can/could go for an actual chat on chat was The Pub......Don't even know if that's still going, and that was only due to Hiro

It's not as easy to be noticed or accepted in chat as it's faster moving, a lot of the regs knew each other from FP too so that would explain some of the cliqueyness. If more forum users came into chat (even just Balderdash) after a while they would be noticed and "accepted" so to speak.
Both the forums and chat have their benefits, it seems stupid to completely write one or the other off.

I'm getting old man, my eyes are failing, my brain is slow and I can't keep up with the stupid abbreviated words people use. It's not like I've not tried. It's not about being accepted, it's about not being able to keep up. it's not easy thinking and typing at the same time when you're a guy pushing 30.
