Posted: Tue 7th Oct 2008, 11:31 pm Im thinking of getting a bike as they are cheaper to run than a car and free parking most places, but if i get one then i will get kicked out of the house.
How can i convince the parents that they arent that bad and are going to save me alot of money?

Posted: Tue 7th Oct 2008, 11:34 pm Tax is £15 a year for anything upto a 125cc, the most expensive bike i've taxed (albiet for a friend) was a hayabusa £75.
Insurance wise there a heck of a lot cheaper to insure but its best to shop around before hand.
It's also best to buy a new one (if you can afford it) as you know if somethings wrong with it you can take it back etc.... but if you buy second hand then take it to a garage and get them to check it over for you before you buy it.
