all time great? I wouldn't quite put him in that category, his gimmick in wcw was phenomenal I agree but grew stale after a while. He was totally misused in WWE but repeating his wcw streak wouldn't have got over with fans again.

I'd definitely agree that his wcw run was a major part of their success during the monday night wars but this was more down to the booking than his actual abilities.

He may have done well in MMA if he'd gone there when he was younger, but by the time his wrestling career was over it was too late. He was a beast and I understand he was trained in martial arts so it would have been interesting to see

well I'm hoping it goes that way, they keep mentioning that Cade is his former pupil so the best way for this to work would be for him to interfere in the match with Y2J at summerslam
giving Jericho the sneaky win needed to move into another angle and build for a feud with Cade and HBK.

Everyone expects HBK to come back and gain revenge over Jericho, which is why it makes more sense for him to fail cos this would make Jericho a major heel.

Cade needs a decent angle to get over and a long running feud with HBK would definitely give him a chance to fulfil the potential we've seen glimpses of.

coundnt agree more although i do think hbk will win at summerslam. nothing to do with him, just the shoddy writers who have no clue. i agree with it making y2j a bigger heel though. lets hope they think as you do. plus the fact he helped train cade could be used as a good angle, like mentor vs student. think hbk will ever get another title run?

despite my dislike for him, I think he 100% should and will get another run. There's no argument from me that he's a phenomenal performer and the fans would love to see it.

That still doesn't mean I like him tho lol

    you rooted AGAINST rock?

delete your account now and never come back

yeah his entrance was something else, the whole knocking on his locker room door gave it quite an edge. I read somewhere that at one wcw taping they actually had him waiting in a janitors cupboard cos the locker rooms didn't have a door on them

If you look at people he's buried over the years, many of them could've stepped up if they hadn't lost their momentum to him, Carlito, Benjamin, Kennedy, together with HHH he buried the whole spirit squad. In the past, there was Bulldog who was finally starting to look like a main event star until hbk politic'd for him to drop the euro title in the UK.

It happens everytime, the opponent will get the better of him for the 1st few wks of any feud but when it comes down to the "rubber match" thats when hbk gets the win. Or like the recent match with Y2J, the opponent gets the win without actually pinning him therefore, he still goes over for being "so brave and resilient".

If the program with Cade goes ahead, Cade should really go over Michaels, and should go over clean, but I really don't see that happening.

Much as I dislike hbk, I'm the first to admit that he's had some fantastic matches in the match and is a definite HOF'er which is why giving the younger guys a win over Michaels would give them the push they need to progress. If you look at Foley as an example, he could've possibly had more title wins, but he used the fact that he was so over and adored by the fans to put other stars over and build for the future

    This made me hard

    I love you
