Please treat administrators and moderators with respect. They are here to make your experience a safe and pleasant one. Being rude or abusive towards any staff member may result in your account being terminated.

Getting Kicked

You will be kicked out of the chat rooms if you break any of the rules stated here or perform any other activities we feel are inappropriate. We reserve the right to kick you from any room at our discretion and without explanation.

Your account may be banned from using any of our chat rooms if you break any of the rules stated here or perform any other activities we feel are inappropriate. We reserve the right to ban you from the chat service at our discretion and without explanation.

General Rules

Do not ask staff members if you can be a moderator. We will invite members who we feel may be appropriate for the job.

Do not ask other users for ratings, comments or points.

Do not give out telephone numbers or addresses.

Do not post your instant messenger details or e-mail address in a chat room. Use the private messaging feature.

Do not excessively use capital letters in your messages.

Inappropriate Language/Behaviour

Posting of links to pornographic content, excessive swearing and abusive behaviour towards other users is not permitted.

Performing sexual acts or any other inappropriate behaviour on web cam is not permitted.

Messages relating to racism, homophobia, sexism and discrimination against other users due to race, religion, sex, gender, marital status, mental or physical disability, sexual orientation or national origin is not permitted.

Threatening behaviour towards other users will not be tolerated.

Advertising

You are not permitted to send any messages for the purposes of advertising. Here are a few examples of what we consider to be advertising:

  • Free invitations to opening nights, etc
  • Selling things, e.g. Cars, Computers, Bikes, etc
  • Promoting other websites, e.g. your personal website, your business, social networking sites, forums, etc
  • Promotions for new bands, clubs, etc
