You must exercise extreme caution when meeting up with people you have only ever met over the Internet. Remember, these people are strangers to you and may not be who they say they are.

Meetings should take place in a public place and you should take a friend or family member with you who is an adult. Remember to tell your friends and family where you are going and who you are going with. You should also take a mobile phone with you.
