I've increased my calorie intake to 1500 since i was told i was eating too little for the exercise i doI'm also only now using the rowing machine twice a week instead of every other day. I'm still doing 3.5 miles running/jogging 6 times a week. Three of these time i'll do it before breakfastdon't think id cope doing all 6 runs before breakfast. Kills me enough as it is. Still doing a bit of dancing most evenings

not enough fats for a start!

    not enough protein.

to much fibre based carbs(retains water) the big drop in weight at first is from water, there is where your answer lies.

I doubt it will be muscle building/gain...its not that easy or women to gain a few lbs of muscle in a short-ish period of time....

dont concentrate too much on the scales anyways...

Well I know this isn't answering the whole question but I have seen alot of people have put what I would have. However just want to point out weight isn't and never will be a indicator of health or build on someone. You shouldn't obsess about the weight but focus on measuring your waist as your goal is to be slimmer.

My weight hasn't changed this year but I am still slowly droping inches.

I don't mean to sound nosy, just curious...do you know the reason for your weight loss?

Not yet but im pretty sure if it keeps dropping at this rate then ill be in the hospital and they will be sure to find out then, just hoping its nothing serious and theres always certain things at the bak of your mind that you think it could be but you just dont want to dwell on it or contemplate life if it was

    maybe...

as i said post your diet for a more clear view.

it wont be muscle. at max you can gain 0.5 lbs of muscle a week and thats if you really know what your doing!

i would just go with the mirror. at the end of the day scales are only a number.
