My mates 206 is a piece of shit, her gear stick comes out when shes driving ! Her brake light click came off ! She doesn't even have elecrtic windows, and it isn't even old. Her seat doesn't even go forward or back. My ex boyfriends 206, He crashed 3 times going at the speed of 30 and to pay over £5000 in total, as his piece of shit tin car just crunched, where as 'my little piece of crap car' has had crashes at the same speed and everything, and hardly anything has happened. my sisters 206..well don't even get me started. And i do know a lot about cars before you think I'm a little barbie who wouldnt have a clue, as it really fucks me off

lol wel saxos are shit cars? think everyone knows that? wel citroens in general!

had my c2 a few months had to have the exhaust replaced and the spark plugs too because they had all developed a common fault (if its common why not alter it before sale? lol)

saxos are worse off in crashes than 206s tho? arrr wait did you hit a pile of pillows tho? lol

oh yea nd my c2 has the same speed button as the swift....doesnt work for me tho <---citroen again!

OT prob best of lupo, micra, swift, clio 1.5 diesel (35tax more mpg) if you can find a cheapish one. best out of them all

I have a very nice little Focus 2 door limited edition thingi it is rele nice..... and rele good on petrol..... my insurance is abit hefty tho..... £1600 a year atm cz im 18 hopefull it will go down....

I did have a KA when i first passed my test then wrote that off in traffic just like slowly catchin up with the car infront i was n't lookin at the car infront of me dont ask!!! then i had another KA but it is like a piece of TIN you only have to have someone open their doors on your side panel and you have a massive crater! they are cheap though bout £2000 the car get you mayb a 01 plate perhaps and about £1200 to insure. my friend had a Saxo and hers was just as good she is 20 now and has just changed but her insurance for the last year was somethin like £500. Now she has a new corsa they are verrrrrrrrry nice if you can stretch to that much!

Totally up to you though but if i was just about to pass my test again i would have certainly have gone straight for a focus..... sporty, nippy, nice inside!, you get a CD player and electric windows wow that you dont with a KA!, they are good on fuel and if you do get yourself in an accident hopefully you dont but i thought that! you won't have a car that caves in around you!

    Sorry for my missions

So true, saw a crash recently, some chavvy little fucker in a Saxo smashed into the back of a small van doing between 30-60mph, the front end of the Saxo was completely fucked and there was just a dent in the back of the van, Saxos are notorious for being weak arse pieces of shit, hence the cheapness

If your on about the new Golf, depending on the engine, your insurance will be big. I had a 1.9 TDI and the insurance is £1900. Sound ok? I'm 20 though, it makes it cheaper here in N.Ireland the older you are, not sure about England etc. Out of them all, being 17 i would go for the Clio. Maybe even a Corsa. Cheap enough to pick up, cheap enough to insure and your pretty safe in the knowledge that not too many pick up problems. The Golf is great, lovely to drive, quick, looks good, but i just reckon the insurance would be too steep, obviously it all depends on your budget.

How is that letting your male instincts take over? I wouldn't let my mum drive my car (And she drives like a gran) let alone a bird

Hmm, I always preferred the Skodas of this time personally - The Rapid Coupe pretty much had the same layout as a Porshe 911, believe it or not - Although, if my memory serves me correctly, it was based on the Renault Dauphine..

The engines were developed around the same time independently although are similar is my understanding.
