Infact, the point of what religion the country answers to is almost irrelevant to what I was saying.
Suggesting that me not knowing that Georgia, surrounded by Armenia, Turkey, Uzbek and Kazak (all muslim worshipping countries) was a christian state, it totally pretentious.

Maybe we weren't all aware off hand, but we didn't go screaming accusations at 'the muslims,' did we? All we said was that if you are saying it is the fault of muslim people then you are wrong and rather racist.

I've known it to be a Christian country since the very start of this conflict, I actually research about a country before I claim to know about it. Quite amazing how many times it saves you looking a fool.

Actually I checked the CIA factfile that they have online, has a lot of handy information available to allow you to make informed and educated comments. I'm guessing you will not have much need for it. I've not supported Georgia at all in this situation, both sides are at fault however Russia has invaded another sovereign nation and violated it's borders. South Ossetia is Georgian territory, it has a seperatist movement that which to belong to Russia but the land is still Georgian, Russia simply declared everybody from Southern Ossetia to be allowed to claim Russia passports to try and call them Russian citizens. Georgia moved in to try and reclaim the seperatist breakaway region and Russia responded by invading.

I'm in Moscow atm, I finaly found an internet cafe of sorts and Ive been reading up on western media reports. The amount of propraganda and misinformation in the Russian news is unreal, they accusse Saakashvili of genecide and compare him to Hitler and Saddam.
They keep showing one town in Ossetia which is bombed and calling it a humanitarien tragedy but dont even mention the 15 cities their 'peacekeepers' bombed in Georgia, blowing up churches, schools and homes. 3000 Georgians are reported dead and over 70,000 who have fled.
They have killed international reporters and only allow russian reportes into the conflict zones. They do not show any of the anti-russian speaches by the leaders of the West or anti-western demonstrations. Its a complete propaganda war, Im just glad Im here with a British passport and not a Georgian one.
I have no contact with my family in Georgia and I dont know wjats happenint there. Its like a bloody nightmare I swear.
The most outrageous piece of propaganda is that they reported that a public poll on CNN showed that 92% of Americans thought that they actions of the Russians were justified, I looked on the CNN website and there is no such poll!!!
