- Well i don't mind really, usually when i go out with the other half i'm with my mates and his mates too so we kind of do our own thing and don't bother each other much. If he wants to go gauping at girls dancing on podiums etc i really don't mind.
I'm really laid back. You were my strength when i was weak,
You were my voice when i couldn't speak,
You were my eyes when i couldn't see,
You saw the best there was in me,
You picked me up when i couldn't reach,
I'm everything i am because you loved me.Reedy <3
depends on the relationship. with my ex i prefered to go out with just mates because one it was my chance to get out the house (you kinda have to give up on nights out together a bit anyway when you have a kid with them) and also because he was a miserable get. we didnt really have a whole lot in common in terms of types of nights we liked. even before my daughter came along if i ever took him out anywhere like to my works night out or with my mates he would spend all night moaning and wouldnt make any effort to speak to anyone. just made things awkward as i felt like i couldnt talk to friends for fear of him being left out. with his mates they always wanted to go for meals and i had problems eating in front of people i dont know well, so either way it just didnt work.
if i was with someone with similar interests or social circle then obv this is much better and i'd love for them to come out with me if they were going to enjoy the night out and not just be awkward. there is nothing better than a great night out and to share that with someone you care about is even better. its important though for your partner to get along with your friends, if you go out as a group alot or share the same friends then it makes it much easier.

I prefer a night out with my mates OR a night out with my boyfriend.
Putting the two together always causes drama.
Baby's got her head in a noose

- My ex was a twat wenever he came out with me & my friends it ALWAYS ended up in tears! + my friends hated him.

This is a question for people that are in relationships... or have been in a relationship.
BASICALLY
say you were going out with all your mates for a night out in town! would you enjoy the night more if your boyfriend / girlfriend came along with you?
Iv noticed that my mate is always inviting her boyfriend out with us & it just makes things awkward because
1. They always end up having an arguement and crying and ruining the night.
2. It makes me worry and feel sorry for him incase hes being left out.
3. If any of us so much as touch him on the arm we get accused of "TRYING TO GET WITH HIM!"
dont get me wrong I do like her boyfriend and get on well with him, but Id just rather he didnt always have to tag along with us!
Iv noticed my other friend is starting to do it too!
anyway
would you rather your lover came out with you?
or would you rather it just be your friends?
always happens with me lol. unless his mates come out too then its ok.
think you need your girly time aswell.
not fair on your mates otherwise
Standing in the light of your halo, I've got my angel now.
To Be Continued.....- No. Nights out with your mates are nights out with your mates. No need for the lover to come along aswell.

Much prefer nights out with strictly 'the lads' instead of couples playing lovey dovey or blazing Jeremy Kyle style rows. In which you're forced to take sides at times.
Frankly the only reason half of them go out all the time with each other is to keep tabs and because they never ever trust each other. Well it seems to be the case with my friends.
And if i was in a relationship i much prefer going out without the missus annoying the fuck out of me.
I used to like it when my ex came out with me.
My new boyfriend is quiet so I feel like I have to give him loads of attention so it can feel awkward with my friends.
And so I say I don't love you,
Though it kills me
It's a lie that sets you free.<3 Mark
- i prefer going out with my mates, or us both going out with mates and meeting up towards the end of the night
A CLEAN HOUSE IS A WASTED LIFE
- I'm such a boring bastard now, I love taking my gf along when I go out. In the past I've always preferred nights out with the boys but Claire's such a good laugh and can match us drink for drink so everyone likes having her around
