I was talking to a fella in work and he was saying the exact same as you, and I started to kinda agree. Lesnar is HUGE and no matter what Couture has up his sleeve, the pure brute strength o Lesnar could dominate and win the fight for him. At first I had little doubt Randy would take the win but now i'm not as confident. Brock is just so huge and strong it will be very tough for Randy to control him.

Coleman should never have came back and to be honest, I still feel he was only brought back for Lesnar to defeat a 'hall of famer' and hype him further (at the time).

Unless Randy has been spending every last minute working on BJJ and submitting from his back, he's screwed. I know he always has a plan, but coming to terms with putting your ego aside and realizing you only have those sorts of options for the win could prove difficult for a champion and someone who spent his formative years fighting above his natural weight. Hopefully, either Randy will use his experiences from his wrestling days (when he wrestled three and four weights higher just to make the national team) and win, or Brock will win a hard fought contest and move on to be a genuine threat. I'd hate to see Randy lose and Brock fade away to nothing.

Coleman is about one KO/TKO/stoppage away from being remembered as a joke. You're right about the reason he came back... I pray he quits before the bout and BJ Penn/GSP goes onto the card in Ireland. I might have to fly over for that one, if it comes off.

I'd definitely have to make my way down for that one. Somehow I doubt they'd put on such a huge fight in Ireland though

You never know... Henderson/Jackson was overseas.... as was Tito/Wanderlei (although just before we knew how big they'd both go on to be. It's gonna happen, may as well get on with it.

Yeah, i'd love for it to happen in Ireland, to be honest. The last time they were here, albeit Northern Ireland, the main event was Franklin - Okami in a non-title fight. I just think they'll probably save that one for America. I mean, look at the next UK event headline - Bisping/Leben.

I honestly can't see Brock beating Randy, I just think Brock isn't ready for a title shot but with Randy not going to be around much longer its the perfect time in terms of marketability. I think if you compare fighting Heath Herring to Randy then he will be in big trouble.Rany has excellent wrestling so i think he will cancel that part of Brocks game out. Im gonna go for a submission win for randy possibly another leg lock.

I still think that Kongo will be Brocks best fight, Kongo has limited wrestling and his ground game is as bad as Houston Alexanders.

Going back to Ireland, BJ?GSP will be at the end of January over Superbowl weekend along with MAchida/Thiago SIlva

Herring is underrated by many. It's no coincidence he has fought so many marquee fighters, albeit with limited success. How many others have fought Tanner, Belfort, Nogueira (3 times!!), Goodridge, Cro-Cop, McGee and fucking FEDOR!!!?!? Lesnar making him look like a novice was some feat.

On the subject of the UFC 93 card, we have rumours of Serra/Hughes, GSP/Penn and Machida/Silva aside from the fights already confirmed. If HALF of the rumours prove true, I'm flying to Belfast, and me and Will are having a drunken weekend going down to Dublin!!

I'd love to see Gordon Brown reduce income tax to 3%. Neither will ever happen... but at least my wish has a billion to one chance.

Brock was a bit of an alright wrestler in his day too....

And when do you ever see Randy finish by submission? He's a ground n pound fighter, and that'll be very tough to do with Lesnar.

Also, drunken weekend in Dublin at the UFC sounds about right

Only one week to go, I've lost all respect for Couture after this

Still on the fence with this fight though, I'm actually a huge fan of Couture but I'd definitely like to see Lesnar become a major player in UFC

Yeah... because bad acting is what loses respect. Isn't Randy fighting an ex-WWF actor???

I can just see a Lesnar VS Mir thing happening again.

Lesnar outstrengths Couture, leaves a leg in and gets fucked.
