You've missed the other for runner of OS's off and that will more then likely result in a nice reply from Eek

that. mac for anythign else you may aswel be using a brick on ur head and laughin at the blood running dwn.
only idiots buy them for anything but photoshop/music.... remember the girl on here who sed she bought a mac coz they are pretty hahahah

Windows... Its industry standard. That is my only reason. I disagree with people that say Mac is Easier for Blah Blah. Its no different than using any OS of the same style, and yes windows is the same style.
Don't get me wrong I'm not anti-mac. Its good and it works; but so does windows, and thats Industry standard. What I mean by that is that majority of industrys/offices use windows based pc's.God Bless

Whats wrong with that?
Just came across this article...
blogs.computerworld.com/if_its_animation_or_special_effects_its_linux
Linux clusters > Windows & Mac
The article is correct though when it says configuring graphics card for desktop users is a pain in the arse. But it's something that is improving every year. Like wireless drivers. Just a couple of years ago most Linux distributions required you to use ndiswrapper as a layer to use windows wireless drivers on Linux, but with companies like Atheros who just hired the guys who run the madwifi project (Linux native drivers for Atheros chipsets) and releasing ath9k for the Linux Kernel, Linux future is looking bright as other companies start to do the same. Especially since Linux is taking hold in the desktop market thanks to Dell and their desktop and laptops coming with Ubuntu, OpenSuSE and Redhat. The Asus Eee and other nettop / netbook manufacturers choosing Linux for low power and green systems is also further strenghtening Linux position as a consumer operating system... And the argument that Linux is a "hobbyist" operating system and difficult to install is long since dead with OSs like Ubuntu and it's derivatives making installation a simple button clicking process and a huge community of users who can help should certain hardware be unsupported.
