ye of course you do but you might aswell borrow one fore a few weeks just to make sure you want to play it then go spend you can get some nice acoustic guitars to start off and cheap mine only cost £100

I just fetched my Oasis books out of the guitar bags and found a place for em in my room so floating through them again I got these when i first started playing guitar and found some songs hard but now Im a little better thet become easier
