Wouldnt say grant was the harder one, ive been watching this since i was about 11/12 and ive seen phill lay grant out numerous times 
Granted phills gone a bit soppy lately, but he has new storylines coming up soon and he starts kicking ass again 
Best actor and always been my favourite part of eastenders 
when he loses it he genuinely looks mental,i know hes just an actor but fuck hed scare me in a fight in real life lol and all the so called hardmen come and go but phills still there.

i have also been watching it for aslong as i can remember but i dont agree grant mitchel is by far the harder and more "psycho"of the 2....id prefer to fight phil than grant..grants also smarter more calculated..phil is just a shitbag...he got banged by dennis a while back and if i remember grant sorted him out...also when the di marcos where in it grant was by far the dominant figure lol im really showing how much of a geek i am muhahahahaha

When they first came into the show (I'm watching it right now in the Classic EE) Grant was the more stupid/act on instinct and Phil's the smart/laid back brother.
But as i said earlier ive seen them two fight numeorus times and phill gets the better of grant most of the time.
