I agree Canada is a far better option though, low rates of crime. Shame about the fucking brutal winters.

im not on about the people. Im saying that the standard of living etc.. is not as great as people think. There are a lot of places worse then here. It annoys me because most people ONLY see the bad things about this country and forget about the good things

I have to agree with you. I think the biggest issue is people are to scared to stand up for what the think is right. Such as i posted a news article on my blog about someone being forced to remove there england flag as it may offend immigrants. You may have read it a few months back? My blog goes through the college network and nothing i said was racist, i just said that how come people are scared of immigrants, yobs etc.. and sit idlely by and do nothing. My blog got pulled from the network incase it offended someone O_o, the country needs someone to stand up and say enough is enough in my opinion. ITs full of cowards who like you say, are to scared to do anything because we feel the law, as the people breaking the laws continue to get away with it.

I've travelled, and the people I ask, bieng that I'm part Welsh, have never heard of Wales.
It's not a real country anyway, it's a Province.

When you move to England (and the chances are that, like 99% of your countrymen, you will move South of the Border as soon as you possibly can) you will come to realise that we are in general very negative about our national football team. Even when In-Ger-Lund do get a good result many people are all too keen to downplay any sense of achievement.
I've always found patriotism to be rather sinister, especially the type of patriotism/ nationalism you get in Scotland and Wales, which is defined by vigourous hatred of the English and not much else.

I can guarantee you I will never move to England. 99% of my countrymen? Exaggeration much?
I can assure you we are more interested in how our team does, it's just funny seeing you lot fall flat on your faces when you claim you are going to win every fucking tournament under the sun, particularly as you look down your noses at us in the process.
Scotland > England.

Explain how that's the entire basis of our national pride? We hate England because they think they're great (in a footballing capactiy) and they are simply average. If we were truly that way inclined we'd all have been watching Germany v England the other night praying the Germans were gonna win, but were we? No, we were watching our own nation versus Argentina.

To be honest make i think its sad to hate another nation. Every country likes to support the own team, there not gonna support it by calling it shit are they? I don't see why any nation should hate another. hate is a very strong word. You talk to us guys on here and i bet most of us are English and we all seem to get on mostly. Or do you hate us to?
