PI or SPAX?

    Building a new motor up on a budget, and was just wondering which you guys would recomend! Only lowering springs for now, but the state the cars in (I didnt do it) Its looking like a tractor. Anyhows, opinions would be greatley appreciated!

    Out of the two.. Spax..but can you not stretch to some Eibach springs or similar?  I had some spax coilovers on my old car and they did the job in terms of ride height, but they were pretty average for ride quality.

    What are the drops and poundage of the springs?

    Go for the set with the highest poundage.

    I've heard good things about Pi, but whatever you do avoid GMAX like the plague...lol, you definitely get what you pay for with this stuff..

    Koni Adjustables are the best of the mainstream lot, I think.. although completely oil filled, they are incredibly reliable and offer better rebound than a lot of gas filled ones - Yep, spax and Jamex are not nice at all.. cheap I guess though....

    avoid the really cheap shite go for the spax as a minimum if you can stretch to fk or eibach all the better but as someone else comented dont buy gmax they wank dogs of.

    as for poundage of the springs bout 250 on the rear and 400lbs on the front should handle sweet then
