Definiately, it will show a few things to people thinking Celtic wouldn't survive in the Premiership LoL.

Portsmouths fronline cost £17m which is probably more than Celtics starting eleven the night we beat them 2-1 cost, says it all really about how well we do with the money available to us

Personally if I was an English going into the Premiership I would try and talk to the owners of Celtic to understand how they work. Then budgets wouldn't have to go though the roof and maybe clubs can be more stable.

Lets not forget that Celtics majority shareholder Dermot Desmond is worth a reputed £1.5billion which makes him richer than most Premiership owners mainly due to his purchase of London City airport for £23.5m in 1995 and then sold it for £1.2billion in 2006,He doesnt invest heavily in our club but he keep us on a financially sound base while still being competetitive on the park which 3 titles in a row and progress in Europe in recent years proves. Our debt levels have went from something like £40m to £3m in the last 13 years and we now operate within our means. We collect £1.5m in TV money every season compared with £20m or whatever the EPL clubs get.

A team that goes up into the EPL and back down gets more money then right don't they I think?
