where it says box colour 1, box colour 2 etc just leave them blank. Theres no codes.

right, there are two boxes, one that has some numbers and right next to it a coloured box... delete the numbers

i dont think you're thick. You bg is black, it doesnt look like you have the boxes anymore, unless you're on about the smaller boxes, like the ones under your DP or your comments

It says Row 1 and Row 2 in your edit options, I dont think you can get rid of them, it just goes grey if you do.

Unless you have a special css code I guess, like giggzy
