Ahhhh right, i always thought it was only after training.

You were my strength when i was weak,
You were my voice when i couldn't speak,
You were my eyes when i couldn't see,
You saw the best there was in me,
You picked me up when i couldn't reach,
I'm everything i am because you loved me.

energy for workouts is glycogen stored in the muscle, if your down on carbs and or eat too soon b4 workout you wont get a proper pump in the muscle, food in the gut draws blood for digestion so less blood for muscle pump, slow carbs upto an hour b4 training anbd fast carbs 30 mins b4 workout works for me, and the all improtant 20 mins after training for maximum protien intake, i think if your on a heavy intense training programe you gotta eat big, sleep big , train big no other way

Have you read any of Jubb's research? Do you believe there is a negative effect on the workout whilst the body tries to utilize and process recently consumed food?

i have read bits, i must admit i dont like at all, not from a building muscle point of view.

i much prefer john berardi, chris acecto and lyle mcdonald.

i consume whey two or three times when im training. so i see it as food but as you say its a grey area for sure.
