Lucky Charm

I’m a daughter, Grand daughter, Sister, Sister-In-Law, Niece, Cousin,  Auntie and a friend but last but not least I’m human!

I live in Oxford, Oxfordshire.   I’m 1 of 10 children .   I suffer from Cerebral Palsy- Left Hemiplegia.  I don't let it get in the way of life and I can drive.  The only thing that gets in the way is other people. After 5 years unemployment due to disability, I'm now a customer assistant.    When I say unemployed due to disability, I lost my first ever job due to my disability through constructive dismissal! They decided and assumed that after almost 4 years service the job would mess my only good hand up and the assumptions have continued with my disability and my ability to beable  to do a job.

 What Am I like As A Person?

 I can be shy when first meeting people but can come right out of my shell when I get to know them.  I can be very wary of others.  I wear my heart on my sleeve and can be easily upset.  I can attack when offended or have been upset.   I'm not the most perfect person on earth but who is?  I'm not the prettiest either. 

You could say I'm a bit of a clean freak.  I hate untidiness.  I hate having to step over things.  I don't like bathing in a untidy bathroom let alone a dirty one.  I'm always washing the towels.  I love the feeling of having a head to toe in the bath and putting clean clothes or PJ's on, it's so relaxing.

My Loves

 My Car- Ford Fiesta Zetec, 5 Dr, 1.4 Automatic in Hot Magenta. The freedom it gives and the complements I get when I’m putting petrol in it.

 Music- I totally love music and musical theatre.  See below for my favourite artists.

IPod- I love music so much it comes everywhere with me, on the bus and I listen to it when I'm doing the house work.  I don't go down the local shop without it if I'm on my own.  I even have it on through the Aux socket in my car and never have the radio stations on.

Acting- I love acting and Studied Performing Arts at College, until the tutor qualified and then you had to be physically fit (as in not have any disability) to continue to study Performing Arts. 

Cinema & Films- You will always find me in an Odeon Cinema every weekend.  I love all sorts of films.

Bad Girls- Got to love this programme, also filmed just up the road, in Oxford.  I really wanted to see the musical but never got the chance!

CSI- I love all 3 of them but New York is my most favourite, probably because most of the good looking people are in this one.

The X Files- Where were you between 1994 & 2003?  Well I was watching this quality programme.  I've got every episode made on VHS tape and DVD.  I saw the first film at the cinema, aged 15.  When I went to Orlando in May 2002, I got to watch the last ever episode on it's first airing on the Fox network.  This was shortly after checking into our hotel room.  I wanted to come home after that.  I've met Gillian Anderson 3 times!  X Files Score 1 & X Files Score 2

My other interests are Swimming, Shopping & getting blind drunk when I have the money!!!

My Hates

 Sex- Well people that talk about it all the time anyway. 

Assumptions- Assumptions- I’ve had plenty of that. When I was at college, my tutor said to me that she would love to live at home again. If you read between the lines of what she said, you would understand that she was actually saying I was lucky to be living at home. I was also told by another tutor that they would love to live on benefits. Again read between the lines, you are lucky to be on benefits and not have a job. How's not having the money or a suitable home and the basic things needed in a womans life, lucky in anyway? I was a lot better of working, both financially and health wise. I want to be able to have children and have them in a financially better situation and I want to work. Did they really think I was infertile? I know I was only 22 at the time but that doesn’t mean my body goes wait, Amy's living at home with no money let pause her biological clock. The clock keeps ticking and it will start to fail.

If I Should Die, I Want:

1.  To be buried in a WHITE COFFIN (Not put into a coffin only to be disturbed from my rest to be moved into a cardboard box and burned).

2.  The Song, “The Surgery” from The X Files I Want to Believe, played as I’m carried through the church!

3.  The Song” Bright Eyes Played during service.

4.  The X Files extended theme played to finish service.
