My name is Laura, or Laura Lou, or Flora
I'm 18 and live in sunny Wigan with the family... Mum, dad and sister
At the moment i'm at college, but shall hopefully be starting life at Manchester University in September ![]()
I have been with my amazing boyfriend for nearly two years now, i love him with everything i have & can't imagine ever being without him. He's more than just my fella, he's also my best friend.
On that note guys & girls... I don't do msn, and i don't do chatting to random people just looking for 'webcam fun' so don't bother asking for it.
My best girl friend is my mum, no joke. She is probably the one woman that hasn't screwed me over at some point, shes the person i can tell everything to and knows me better than anyone else.
I love being with my girlies though and am going to miss them lots and lots when i'm away
Girly chinese & cheesy film nights are THE best... Especially when the wine comes out to play. And of course nights out on the town would not be the same without them in tow.

I have just returned from my month long expedition to India - the Himalayas and Rajasthan.
Wow, what an experience it was! We were a team of 21 17/18 year olds, with 2 teachers and an exped leader as part of the world challenge organisation.
We started off from Manali in Himachal Pradesh and began our 14 day trek through the foothills to the Himalayan mountain range on a newly brought in trek called "Hampta Pass & Chandratal", originally two seperate treks that had been combined for us, a previous team and another team that started a few days after us.
During our time trekking we became the first team to camp on snow, we also later found out that we were the team that got the furthest on it with a milage total of 154 miles per person, we also swam in "the Lake of the Moon" at 4200m (that's three times the height of Ben Nevis!). Although the trek was demanding both physically, mentally and emotionally to the point i wouldn't have imagined, it was perhaps my favourite part of the expedition and the bit i learned most from about myself and the world around me.
The second phase of our expedition took place in Jaipur, where we worked in a school for 5 days teaching the children, playing games with them and trying to make some of the areas of the school more inviting, interesting and colourful for the children with paintings on the walls etc. We were also challenged to a football match against a local side on the hottest day we experienced there... We beat them 5-0! I scored 1 goal... Go me, much to their surprise because they didn't want the girls playing at first haha. I then broke my nose diving into their school's swimming pool though, that was quite funny though.
The third part of the journey continued in the "Pink City" (Jaipur) with what is supposed to be rest and relaxation. During this time we travelled to Agra to see the Taj Mahal and saw sights around our base city such as the Amber Fort/Palace where we got to ride the elephants!!
