Wednesday 2nd July 2008

MingleVille v3.0 was launched just over a week ago and since then we have been working hard to implement some of your suggestions and fix the bugs you have reported!

Here are some of the changes:

  • Home & Account Page
Home has been renamed to Account and the old style MV home page is back!

  • Privacy Settings
We have made some changes to the privacy settings.
Please update them to make sure everything is how you want it to be.

  • The Editor
Some users have experienced problems with the advanced editor loading when posting comments, etc.
This problem should now be resolved! The loading speed has also been improved.

If anything doesn't look quite right, please refresh the page or clear your web browser cache (Tools > Options).

Thanks!

MingleVille

Court - the reason why Mingleville requires you to use your email to to reduce "hacking" People used to be able to put your user name in and sit and guess passwords.

The new way, they have to guess which email you have signed up with and a password. Making it impossible for them unless they know your email address.

Best thing to do is to MAKE A NEW hotmail address, and don't give it to anyone, and just use that to sign up to websites. This increases you accounts security reducing most compromising threats.

    Hope that helps
