Okay pretty much from what ive seen the burden of inflation and flat/minimal growth will be on us until at least 2010, possibly year end of 2011.

    So, questions:

1: how much is it affecting you? what cutbacks are you having to make?

2: any solutions to the economic problems? (probably one for the economist minded among you)

    3: who is to blame?

I use my vehicle less at the moment, although Diesel has been falling as of late. I won't be using garages to work on my vehicle, I'll do repairs and serving myself to save myself hundreds now. For the past few months I've been cooking for myself in the kitchen in our accomodation and paying a charge for the cookhouse too despite not taking the meals. I'm stopping cooking now and just using the damn cookhouse since it costs me £100+ monthly. I rarely drink anyway and I don't bother going to stores to buy music and dvds anymore. Nothing really major to change as everything I've spent money on before are luxarys that I can live without.

It's a bad time to be losing your job at the moment, chances are if you lose your job you won't be finding another one anytime soon.

This is why at the moment government jobs are the safest bet going along with jobs in utility companies. Pretty much my entire family works within the government sector and private utility companies so I figure we are fairly safe.
