If so, it should be pointed out that the government are fantastic at making sure the right companies and establishments carry out their work for them to further enhance any story they may have given by using very convincing explainations of unrealistic events.

As I've pointed out, you can make the mass of people believe anything if you keep telling them enough, and again, once you blindly label anyone who disagrees as being "unpatriotic" or a "conspiracy theorist", then it's pretty easy to keep the lie going.

FEMA, NIST and Popular Mechanics are all hugely influenced by those in high power, so they would be happy to strengthen an entirely fictional story to further convince the public what they've been told is true.

FEMA arrived in New York the evening before 9/11 and were the first rescue team in, as well as shipping off all the WTC tower steel to China before it could be properly investigated, which I think you'll find is highly illegal.

As an american who has lived under this government for almost 50 years, (and worked for them as well) let me state for the record that

1) They clearly have the ability to do this

2) They clearly have proven that they could never cover it up

3) They would not have targeted the pentagon in an area that had already had its asbestos removed and cleaned up

4) They can't keep a secret (see #2)

5) They can't plan far enough ahead for this to make sense

6) As for using it as an excuse, they would have hit a more compelling target that would have outraged more americans long term (think something like Disneyworld) NY is its own little world to a lot of americans, and although we got upset, it was just NY...
