I love how Dice are just saying "well yeah, we're making this on the PC, and the consoles can have the port this time"

Looking forward to some 64v64 battles on the PC

This, on a technical level with crush MW3. However, it doesn't have that run and gun arcade feel of COD so COD will still massively outsell it. A shame really when you check this stuff out.

Saw an interesting image on /v/ about how this is going to be Battlefields CoD4, then it's all downhill from here.

Maybe, Battlefield already is the PC's top shooter, like COD is on the console. It'll have a hard time stealing that from COD on the consoles, it'll have massive success on the PC though, it is the games lead platform anyway.

Battlefield 2 was far superior to MW2, it's just more people seem to prefer the COD games for some bizzare reason. The new support class changes will make this even better, it's about time a machine gun actually made use of it's bipod.

BF2 required teamwork and had a sense of realism. People seem to prefer going lone wolf holding down a trigger like an arcade game it seems.

That's one of the things that put me off BF2, needed team work, and since a lot of players had that COD mind they just ran around trying to be a one man army, and taking all the vehicles without waiting for others to get in and man the guns.

Would have been OK if there were several of us playing, but it was usually 2 or 3 at most, and the rest would be randomers doing their own shit, that you couldn't talk to to discuss tactics.

I don't have the game anymore, my brother 'borrowed' it about a year ago and I never got it back.
