    Hey Guys,

Just a little bored and thought I'd highlight an observation that has only recently come to me. As if any of ye are interested like.

Anyway I was informed recently that because I'm not a vegetarian, I can't be an enviormentalist. Anyway so I was directed to some youtube video's of people saying similar stuff. Now I'm not really taking it too seriously, but I'm curious if there are any enviormentalists on here, and if so are ye Vegetarian?

Please excuse any spelling and grammar mistakes.

    God Bless
    Peace

They're saying it because of the massive inefficiency between raising animals for food and what we get out of what we put in.

I'm going to bed now and have work in the morning, but if no-one else has explained this better I will do when I get home.

I'd consider myself an environmentalist yeah, and I'm vegan.

The new form of enviromentalism has pissed me off, we are now having green policys set by the government forcing green policy onto us. Enviromentalism should be a choice people make, if they wish to recyle they will, if they don't they don't. We should not have to pay more and more tax towards unsustainable ideas especially during a recession. It's a bloody con the government has latched onto in order to squeeze more money out of the taxpayer.

As for vegetarians, well South Park explains that.

thoughts like this are a much more powerful poison than any inefficiencies incorporated into eating animals.

"you're not a vegetarian, hence can't be concerned about the environment"

"that's true, so i will fly around the world in a rocket before burning down a rainforest."

those who are willing to change their environmental habits for the greener should be encouraged always, both to improve themselves and spread the word to others.

I don't paticulary care about the benefits to green policy, I recycle my beer bottles, I use bio fuels where available which cut down emissions, but I only buy this because it is cheaper than diesel. Been "green" is just common sense and saves you money, turn lights off when they are not used, turn the tv off and whatnot. No show stoppers, just basic things. Unlike the new vehicle taxbands that are going to cripple many familys with their evil choice of a Ford Mondeo. MP's reactions to these criticisms are that familys with a higher band vehicle should buy a more efficient car, ahh just the ticket if you are a corrupt politician who can claim more than most people earn in a year.

Not at all, you can care for the enviroment but not be a vegetarian. It just so happens that a lot of enviromentalists are elitist cunts and love to look down at others. Ever heard the expression that green is the new red?

    I'm vegan.

I'm vegitarian because 1 - I haven been since I was born 2- because I don't want to be a part of that horror

Now I am vegan because 1 - I always knew I SHOULD  be since being veggie not vegan is hypocritical but what decided it was it's better for my health to be vegan. Well it's better for everyone's health, but yeah
